John does not shoot traditional images, look at the camera, and say cheese” images. Instead, he will interact, talk, and joke with you during the shoot. John asks that clients not give her a shoot list, as her style is very spontaneous and non-traditional. If he sees a perfect moment or a beautiful ray of light streaming across your face, he will take photos, oftentimes without you even realizing it. He will offer some posing ideas and suggest tilting or angling your body or face so that the images flatter your best features. So do not be alarmed if John asks you to tilt your head up and down or look a certain direction he’s only looking for the perfect light to flatter your beautiful features! This is the method he uses for capturing all of his Okinawa Pictures.
